Dr George King - My Master, My Inspiration
In this page Richard Lawrence shares his feelings about the legacy of his own spiritual Master, Dr George King

Dr George King - My Master, My Inspiration

The inspiration behind Gods, Guides and Guardian Angels - and indeed of all my work - is the legacy of my own spiritual teacher Dr George King (1919-1997). Without his phenomenal wisdom, hard work and sacrifice, I believe that the world today would be a very different place. As a Master of the higher forms of yoga, who was able to enter the highest meditative states at will at a moment's notice wherever he was, Dr King's psychic and spiritual abilities were astounding. My much more basic abilities, have come about as a result of following his great teachings - and I regard myself as immensely privileged to have known him, worked with him and received instruction from him.

As I wrote in Gods, Guides and Guardian Angels:

"Until recently only some of the people closest to me knew the full extent of my channelling. I've never kept it a secret, but nor have I gone out of my way to make every detail widely known.

"One of the people I used to discuss it with the most was naturally my teacher, Dr King. I was incredibly fortunate to receive guidance from a medium of his brilliance. He was a Master, I am not. He could receive messages from Masters. I cannot. His genius at receiving information from beings on the higher realms and beyond is, I believe, unequalled in human history - making my feeble abilities seem less than paltry by comparison. Likewise the information he received was of world-saving importance - whereas my comparatively insignificant messages are of an immeasurably lower calibre, a fact which my guides would readily agree with."

I believe that one of the greatest texts ever channelled at any time is The Nine Freedoms, received through Dr King in the early 1960s from a Cosmic Intelligence known as ‘Mars Sector 6'. Combined with Dr King's own brilliant commentaries which accompany the text, The Nine Freedoms is my favourite book, and I would heartily recommend it to anyone seeking to unravel the mysteries of spiritual evolution - and make rapid strides in their own journey back to the great Divine Source.

Bravery, love and service are the first three freedoms which will eventually lead us to enlightenment, cosmic consciousness and even to freedom from the reincarnatory cycle of Earth - and beyond to the advanced life cycles of other planets. Covering subjects as diverse as kundalini, ascension, yoga and samadhi - we can all gain endless insights from the jewels of wisdom presented in this monumental spiritual classic.

Another fantastic book I would strongly recommend is The Twelve Blessings, channelled through Dr King by The Master Jesus in the late 1950s. The subjects of the blessings vary from spiritual workers, such as those working for peace, to great cosmic beings, such as the Mother Earth.

Written in beautiful, inspiring prose this is a book to read again and again, enhancing our appreciation of the significance of spiritual work and humanity's place in the Cosmos.

More importantly, it is a way of being of spiritual service to the world. By saying the blessings and prayers and visualising white light flowing out to the focal points, we can all help to empower spiritual work on Earth, raise the consciousness of humanity and balance world karma. As we send energy out, so by the law of karma, energy will come back to us, enabling us to send out even more energy in the future!
